As expats make up approximately 80% of the population of the UAE the Emiratis seem to be outnumbered. Emiratis are justly very proud of their leadership and country and they are the cornerstone of life in Dubai.
Expat workers come from every imaginable country and work in every conceivable job from ‘red flag man’ to C-Level positions. Many have come to Dubai and started their own businesses in either ‘Mainland’ Dubai or one of any number of Free Zones.
